DESCRIPTION: Henry Hoffman, Le Locle, a decorative gold hunting cased pocket watch, 15 jewels, key wind and set, damascened nickel bar movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance and counterpoised pallet in an 18 karat, yellow gold, engraved and with matted ground hunting case with split pusher for releasing covers, maker's details engraved on gold cuvette and presentation on front cover, roman numeral single sunk white enamel dial, plum colored steel Breguet style hands, serial #32311, 42mm, 60.4g TW, c1865.
CONDITION: CASE: Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Hinges a bit sticky; Plastic crystal; Bow loose and with minor wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Fine scratches. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Numerous fine scratches on plate; Minor spotting; Small spot of corrosion on barrel bridge; One case screw broken; Setting square and guard with minor oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
